The Chequit Inn is a beautiful Victorian inn located on Shelter Island, a picturesque ferry ride from Greenport. It's just a 2 minute walk from the ferry station so you won't need to bring your car. The food is usually good although it's been a few years since I've eaten there. Nonetheless, one of the most beautiful places to stay on the North Fork.
