Impressed! by gagie24 on 08/30/2009
I called all of the wineries that could host a party of 34 people that could accomodate a private tasting and private tables. Laurel Lake was by far the most accomodating, and even offered live music, which many did not. We had the whole deck practically to ourselves and they came to us for the wine tasting so we didn't have to wait at the bar. Everyone enjoyed the Riesling(sp?) and purchased many bottles. I was impressed with how easy going they were to deal with and how cheap the tastings were compared to other wineries. Personally, I thought it was beautiful!
No Good by dclax18 on 06/19/2009
Wine is very poor , and atmosphere is just ok. There are much better places on the North Fork. Try Bedell or Macari.
Must Stop by tguzf on 05/13/2009
I have been to many of the Vineyards on Long Island. This is a must stop on your wine tour. It is a very small place and not on the very fancy side but the wine speaks for it's self.....

I'm not all that impressed by Laurel Lake Vineyards. The last time I visited, I couldn't even get to the tasting area. I've been here in the past though and nothing really stands out - neither the atmosphere nor the wine.
