Macari Vineyards

Macari Vineyard hands down, is the best winery on the North Fork of Long Island! I've been to nearly all of the wineries on the North Fork and I have found Macari's staff extremely knowledgeable and friendly, which added to the wonderful experience. Their wines were remarkable, and their best red on the tasting menu, Bergen Road, is worth more than the cost. Their Early Wine is light, fruity, crisp and FUN! If you haven't been to Macari. GO! it's well worth it.

I'm a big fan of two wines at Macari - the block E and the Collina 48 Merlot. The Block E is a very sweet, rich, dessert wine. The Collina 48 Merlot. The Collina 48 has a great subtle, peppery taste to it and I usually pair it with a savory meal.
