My Take on Castello Di Borghese Vineyards

Castello Di Borghese is the spot of the first vineyard on the North Fork (formerly Hargrave Vineyards prior to being sold) and it typically attracts a lot of people because of its extensive history. However, nothing really stood out to me -- the wine or the rest of my experience there. If you’re traveling with a large group, I’d recommend skipping this stop and checking out Vineyard 48.

What a vineyard should be! by WineLover2276 on 11/01/2007
After all the hoopla we heard about the Borghese's being related to last year's "Bachelor" (on TV) we wanted to make a special stop at this vineyard. What a pleasant surprise and definitely worth a stop along the "North Fork Wine Trail". Great wine! Professional, courtious staff. We sat outside sipping wine, overlooking the vines. Their calendar was packed full with art shows and food/wine pairing etc! We didnt get to do the Winemakers Walk with Ann Marie Borghese, but we hear it's very informative and quite intriguing.
