i thought the wine was better than most places i visited. i also just liked the atmosphere. seemed a bit more off-the-beaten-path than other bigger places like raphael or bedell.

Much like Jamesport Vineyards, Lenz Winery has a simple charm to it. The spacious tasting room can accommodate larger parties. I've always been able to find friendly and knowledgeable service on the busiest of weekends. Lenz may not have the spectacular views of Corey Creek, but the reds have long been a favorite of me and my friends.
